opened in 2003, John Trawick is a Director of Golf. Carved out of a diverse landscape on a 3,500-acre parcel of land owned by the Pursell family, the course is a mix of dramatic elevation changes, pristine fairways and immaculate greens. But that’s not what makes FarmLinks so unique. FarmLinks Golf Club was awarded : Golfweek Magazine's America's Best Public-Access Courses for Alabama 2006, Golfweek Magazine's America's Best Public-Access Courses for Alabama 2005, Golfweek Magazine's America's Top 40 New Golf Courses 2005
